Currently bariatric surgery experts and endocrinologists believe that the Gastric bypass, or the sleeve gastrectomy is a form of diabetes by the hormonal consequences they entail. In our series of patients operated we found that all diabetics have stopped and oral anti diabetic normalized glycated hemoglobin levels.
