Preoperative treatment

ALL OBESITY SURGERY REQUIRES PRE-OPERATIVE PREPARATION.

Most obese patients have an enlarged liver, due to the accumulation of glycogen and fat. This enlargement may cause difficulties in visualising the upper part of the stomach during surgery.
